Mr Paul McClintock

BA, LLB

Mr McClintock joined the Board in June 2005 and was appointed as Chairman from November 2005. He is also a member of the Board's Remuneration Committee. Mr McClintock is a qualified lawyer. Since 1985 he has been a principal of the private investment banking firm, McClintock Associates, apart from 2000-2003 when he served as Secretary to Cabinet and Head of the Cabinet Policy Unit, reporting directly to the Prime Minister. Mr McClintock has a strong background in health, and served as Chairman of Affinity Health from January 2004 to April 2005. Other directorships currently held by Mr McClintock include Chairman of Thales Australia Group, Director of Perpetual Limited, Director of Macquarie Infrastructure Group, Chairman Low Emissions Technology Demonstration Fund Expert Panel and Chairman St Vincent's Centre for Applied & Clinical Research. Age 57.

Mr Robert Cooke

Grad Dip Finance and Accounting, Bach. Health Administration, Dip Business Studies

Mr Cooke was appointed Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Symbion Health in November 2005. Prior to that he was Group General Manager - Hospitals at Mayne Group Limited from 2002, and from 1999 was the General Manager Sales and Product Development at Mayne Group Limited. Age 50.

Dr Ian Blackburne

PhD (Chemistry), MBA

Dr Blackburne joined the Board in September 2004. He is Chair of the Board's Remuneration Committee and a member of the Audit & Compliance Committee. He is Chairman of CSR Limited and Director of Suncorp Metway and Teekay Shipping Corporation. Also former Managing Director of Caltex Australia. Age 60.

Mr Jim Hall

BCom (Acc)

Mr Hall joined the Board in June 2005. Post the Mayne Pharma demerger he became Chair of the Board's Audit & Compliance Committee and a member of the Remuneration Committee. He has more than 35 years in senior financial management roles, most recently as Executive Director of Finance at Orica Limited. Prior to joining Orica, he held a range of senior financial management roles over 32 years with BHP Billiton. Since retiring from Orica in April 2005, Mr Hall was briefly a Director of Affinity Health. Mr Hall is currently a Director of Alesco Corporation Limited, Centro Properties Group and the ConnectEast Group. Age 55.
