Pharmacy Choice® is an integrated retail support program designed to assist independent pharmacies develop their businesses and compete effectively in a changing retail environment. Every pharmacy is different, and so are we.

The independent pharmacy market faces many industry challenges including competition from the large supermarket chains, pharmacy discounters and other local branded and non-branded pharmacies. In order to stay in business, independent pharmacies need to be better retailers, better marketers, provide better customer service and manage their business more effectively. Symbion Pharmacy Services has worked with the independent market to develop a program to provide the opportunity for independent pharmacies to compete.

Flexibility is a cornerstone of the Pharmacy Choice® program. Acknowledging that the needs of independent pharmacies vary based on a range of local factors, Symbion Pharmacy Services has developed a program that is flexible enough to deal with individual pharmacy requirements. The tiered membership structure of Bronze to Platinum, with optional services available, means every independent pharmacy can select the membership level that best suits their business needs, and opt in and out of optional services as appropriate.
