Symbion Consumer manufactures and markets a wide range of healthcare-related consumer products, including leading brands of vitamin and mineral supplements.
Symbion Health's Consumer Products division helps consumers take charge of their health by providing vitamin, mineral, and herbal supplements of the highest quality. Our market-leading brands include Nature's OwnTM, Cenovis®, Golden Glow®, Bio-OrganicsTM, Natural NutritionTM, and Vitelle®. Symbion Consumer also offers the proven effectiveness of the Betadine® range of antiseptic products, which are widely used in hospitals and households for their broad-spectrum antibacterial and antiviral action. Faulding® and Trademark brands are deeply entrenched in the history of the consumer products division and have been part of Faulding for more than 20 years. Symbion Consumer is made up of four divisions, Golden Glow (Natural Health Products), Marketing, Sales and Operations with support services of Human Resources, Finance and Information Technology. The divisions are spread over three major sites: Yarraman Place Virginia, Lisgar Street Virginia and 5 Queens Road, Melbourne. There are also sales offices located in each State. Yarraman Place, Virginia Lisgar Street, Virginia Over more than two decades, Golden Glow Natural Health Products has developed and refined direct marketing skills, which have become a standard to follow. Because of this, and because of our insistence on quality, the Golden Glow® brand has become a household name in Australia. Symbion Health Ltd HO - 5 Queens Road VIC, Baulkham Hills NSW, Salisbury SA and Malaga WA National Sales and Sales VIC operate from Symbion Health Ltd HO at 5 Queens Road Melbourne which includes National Account Management for Pharmacy, concentrating on Nutriceuticals (Vitamins) & OTC Pharmaceuticals, and Grocery trade, such as Coles and Woolworths. Symbion Consumer General Manager and a division of Finance are also based at Symbion Health Ltd HO, 5 Queens, Melbourne. Nature's Own, Bio-Organics, and Natural Nutrition are trade marks of the Symbion Health Limited Company and related subsidiaries.
The Yarraman Place, Virginia site was the original head-office for Bullivant's Natural Health Products, which started as a small Brisbane health food store in Redcliffe in 1971. The Company grew dramatically throughout the 1980s and 1990s until it was forced to expand the facility. This resulted in the leasing of four different premises over the years culminating in the current 7500 sq. metre premises at Virginia. The Yarraman Place site houses Finance, Human Resources and Information Technology as well as Queensland Sales, Marketing and Operations which includes all manufacturing and packaging functions for Symbion Consumer.
The Lisgar Street, Virginia site houses Golden Glow Natural Health Products which is Australia's largest vitamin and supplement mail order company. Golden Glow has been providing Australian families with quality health products and information on healthier living for over 26 years. From small beginnings in 1976, Golden Glow Natural Health Products has grown to become one of Australia's most innovative and successful suppliers of health products by mail order.
